What is Improvement Exam?
Improvement exam (also called betterment exam) allows students to reappear in subjects where they have passed but want to score higher marks to improve CGPA.
Eligibility for Improvement Exam
- Must have passed the subject (cannot improve failed subjects)
- Can apply after completing final semester (8th semester)
- Usually allowed only once per subject
- Must apply within specified time period
Improvement Exam Rules
- Can improve maximum 4-5 subjects
- Better of two marks will be considered
- Original marksheet will show "Improvement" remark
- Same exam pattern as regular exam
- No attendance required

- Wait for improvement exam notification from AKTU
- Login to AKTU ERP portal
- Fill improvement exam form
- Select subjects to improve
- Pay examination fees
